DICHIARAZIONE ARTISTICA
“Cerco la mia ispirazione nella bellezza di tutta la natura, che mi nutre come la linfa alimenta l’albero.
Ogni immagine provoca in me sensazioni che riverso sulla tela bianca, attraverso l’uso di tecniche miste, nelle quali generalmente i colori freddi e le texture giocano un ruolo predominante nella mia opera.
Amo il design, la composizione e la forma. Il mio lato strutturato e perfezionista mi porta a pensare ogni dettaglio nella creazione delle mie serie: studio il tema, le tecniche, i supporti, affinché ogni opera abbia un filo conduttore che le conferisca un senso di appartenenza alla serie. Tuttavia, nel processo creativo ho bisogno di allontanarmi dalla realtà, liberarmi, rompere e semplificare la forma. Ho bisogno della libertà di creare il fogliame al di là delle radici che mi nutrono, motivo per cui le mie opere vanno dalla figurazione all’astrazione, utilizzando generalmente entrambe. Questa dualità mi rappresenta: sono così, strutturata e allo stesso tempo libera.”

BIOGRAFIA
Di nazionalità italo-argentina, è nata a Firmat, provincia di Santa Fe, Repubblica Argentina, nel 1963. Ha acquisito la cittadinanza italiana grazie al nonno paterno.
Vive a Villa Constitución (provincia di Santa Fe). Qui ha svolto i suoi studi terziari, laureandosi in Professoressa di Matematica, Fisica e Cosmografia. Si è avvicinata all’arte nel 1999, attraverso laboratori artistici nella sua città, sulle rive del fiume Paraná, cercando di dare forma ai sentimenti che quell’ambiente naturale generava in lei. Questo incontro con la pittura è stato un evento fondamentale nella sua vita e, con il tempo, l’ha portata a cambiare professione.
La sua formazione non è accademica: ha iniziato con la figurazione, in particolare figura umana e paesaggio, attraverso atelier e seminari di grandi maestri nazionali e internazionali. Ognuno di loro ha contribuito allo sviluppo della sua impronta artistica. Con il passare del tempo la sua opera si è trasformata, riuscendo a rompere la propria struttura, scomponendo le forme e invitando l’osservatore a ricomporle e a lasciarsi attraversare dall’energia generata da ogni creazione.
È costantemente alla ricerca di nuove tecniche e dell’uso di materiali diversi. Questa miscela costituisce la firma distintiva della sua opera. Nel 2015 ha inaugurato la sua galleria “Arte en Difusión” e il suo atelier, dove tiene corsi di pittura su cavalletto. Per due anni ha condotto una rubrica di divulgazione artistica su un canale televisivo locale, mettendo a frutto la sua vocazione didattica, questa volta applicata alla pittura e alla storia dell’arte.
Attualmente organizza mostre proprie e di colleghi della sua zona nella sua città. Partecipa a festival, eventi, mostre ed esposizioni a livello locale, nazionale e internazionale.

The debut of Carolina Curti’s works in Dubai marks a chapter of extraordinary significance for the international fine art market, strengthening an increasingly close cultural and economic bond between South America and the Middle East. This important artistic and commercial development is the direct result of the encounter and subsequent collaboration between the Argentine artist and the renowned curator and art advisor Alessio Paolo Musella, which took place in Doha in December 2025. From that moment on, the synergy between Curti’s expressive vision and Musella’s strategic guidance made it possible to structure a highly ambitious project, specifically designed to engage with the demanding and sophisticated dynamics of elite collectors in the United Arab Emirates.
The core of this launch centers on a debut work, an oil on canvas with strong visual and conceptual impact, whose distribution has been planned according to the strictest standards of the high-end art market. In order to preserve exclusivity and ensure long-term investment value, the work is offered in an extremely limited edition of only 7 certified copies. This choice not only responds to the demand for rarity and uniqueness typical of Dubai’s collectors, but also introduces a rigorous protocol of authenticity, essential in a global art hub that builds its foundations on transparency and prestige.

ARTISTIC STATEMENT
“I seek my inspiration in the beauty of all nature, which nourishes me as sap nourishes the tree.
Each image evokes sensations in me that I pour onto the blank canvas, using mixed media techniques, in which cold colors and textures generally play a predominant role in my work.
I love design, composition, and form. My structured and perfectionist side leads me to think through every detail in the creation of my series: I study the theme, techniques, and supports so that each work has a common thread that gives it a sense of belonging to the series. However, in the creative process I need to distance myself from reality, to free myself, to break and simplify form. I need the freedom to create foliage beyond the roots that nourish me, which is why my works move from figuration to abstraction, generally using both. This duality represents me: I am like this, structured and at the same time free.”

BIOGRAPHY
Of Italian-Argentine nationality, she was born in Firmat, Santa Fe Province, Argentina, in 1963. She acquired Italian citizenship through her paternal grandfather.
She lives in Villa Constitución (Santa Fe Province). There she completed her tertiary studies, graduating as a Professor of Mathematics, Physics, and Cosmography. She approached art in 1999 through artistic workshops in her hometown, on the banks of the Paraná River, seeking to express the emotions that that natural environment generated within her. This encounter with painting was a pivotal moment in her life and, over time, led her to change her profession.
Her training is non-academic: she began with figuration, especially the human figure and landscape, through ateliers and seminars with major national and international masters. Each of them contributed to the development of her artistic imprint. Over time, her work evolved, breaking away from its own structure, deconstructing forms, and inviting the viewer to reconstruct them and be immersed in the energy generated by each creation.
She is constantly in search of new techniques and the use of different materials. This blend constitutes the distinctive signature of her work. In 2015 she inaugurated her gallery “Arte en Difusión” and her studio, where she teaches easel painting classes. For two years she hosted an art education segment on a local television channel, applying her teaching vocation to painting and art history.
She currently organizes exhibitions of her own work and that of fellow artists in her city. She participates in festivals, events, exhibitions, and shows at local, national, and international levels.
